Mission Statement- November 2011

I want to put Philippines on the map for backpackers. I want it to be part of the southeast Asian backpacker circuit. I want to attract ecofriendly tourists who are interested in the culture. I want to do this by the provision of guest house type accomodation, community work and cultural immersion. I want the relationship between tourists and locals to be healthy and break the mould of primarily attracting men in search of wives. I want to employ many great Filipinos. I want the operation to be sustainable and for ppl to leave and rave about their experience.  I want all the great things that come with traveling to be present within the business. Shared experiences, appreciation of a culture, investment in host country, friendships, self discovery. I want to make sure no matter what I do it is a labour of love. I want to be successful but in a simple way.
